清水湾小学(Clearwater Bay School)是香港英基学校协会(ESF)属下学校,ESF是香港最大的英语国际教育提供者,属下的22间私立独立学校和幼儿园共接收了来自约60个不同国籍的17,000多名学生,约70%的学生父母是香港的永久性居民。
清水湾小学是一间国际文凭世界学校,为清水湾,将军澳和西贡半岛社区的学生提供国际化的教育。学校注重建立一个安全和温暖的学习环境,培养关怀,尊重和对不同文化的理解。
清水湾小学创办于1992年,根据国际文凭组织小学课程(IBO PYP)去提供生动及具挑战性的探索性课程,从而发展学生的创意,自信心及精益求精的态度。清水湾小学为学生提供全面性的课程,以达至高水平学术成就,并且重视艺术,体育及运动。该校拥有专业,热忱的教师和活跃的家长团体,他们互相合作,确保每一个学生都得到最好的教育。
香港英基协会属下的学校常年都有很长的waiting list(等待名单)。很多没能通过一年级入学面试的小朋友,在等待了三、四年甚至更长时间后,一旦学校有了空缺再次获得面试机会并通过面试,都还是会离开已经适应了的学校,转学到英基。所以,英基的火爆程度可见一斑。

招生简章

入學申請

清水灣學校的入學程序符合英基的招生政策。居住在學校劃分的招生區域內的學生可以申請入學。該地區大致包括清水灣,西貢和將軍澳。 要申請,必須填寫ESF登記表,並將其與相關文件的副本一起並在線提交,並支付適當的費用。 根據ESF招生政策中列出的優先順序,將邀請學生參加我們一個主要課程的面試。這次面試約45分鍾,旨在確定孩子的英語技能和是否適合在以英語為教學語言的學習。家長也要面試,以更好地了解學生的發展和學習需求。 在ESF學校中,一個年級中的所有學生都年齡都應是同齡的。 對於2024/2025學年,年齡段如下:
 
1年級– 2019年出生的孩子
 
2年級– 2018年出生的孩子
 
3年級– 2017年出生的孩子
 
4年級– 2016年出生的孩子
 
5年級– 2015年出生的孩子
 
6年級– 2014年出生的孩子
 
對於當前的所有年級,我們將在一年中的任何時候接受申請。但僅在出現空缺時進行面試。
 

课程设置

The PYP is designed for students between the ages of 3 and 12 years. It is an international, transdisciplinary program designed to foster the development of the whole child, both in the classroom and in the world outside. The program focuses on students’ intellectual social, emotional, and physical development.
 
The PYP aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring students. International understanding and intercultural competence are also key aspects of the program that are developed through the IB learner profile which makes explicit the key attributes for students to develop as internationally minded global citizens. IB learners strive to be inquirers, thinkers, communicators, risk takers, knowledgeable, principled, open-minded, caring, balanced and reflective.
 
As an IB World School Clearwater Bay aims to provide students with a truly international education that encourages them to be active, compassionate, lifelong learners who understand that other people with their differences can also be right.

The IB Learner Profile
The aim of all IB programmes is to develop internationally minded people who, recognising their common humanity and shared guardianship of the planet, help to create a better and more peaceful world.
