Kranji Secondary School

新加坡, 61 Choa Chu Kang Street 51, S689333

学校简介

Kranji Secondary was established in 1995 and was temporarily sited in Chestnut Drive Secondary School. In 1996, the school was relocated to its present premises at 61 Choa Chu Kang Street 51. The school came under MOE’s Project for Renovating and Improving Existing Schools (PRIME) from 2016 to 2018. On 11 December 2018, the school shifted to its completed new premise after PRIME upgrading.

Since its inception, the school places a premium on imbibing in students a sense of pride and ownership in the community involvement. The school prides itself in establishing its long term collaboration with Yew Tee Citizens’ Consultative Committee (CCC) since 2005 and now with Limbang CCC after reclustering in the Constituency in 2018, to celebrate the annual Mid-Autumn Festival. This is a signature event which students put up innovative booths and cultural performances for residents in the community in celebration of cultural appreciation.

关于我们

Welcome to Kranji Secondary School.

It is a pleasure to be appointed as Principal of this school. Established in 1995, the school has grown from strength to strength to develop each student into a self-directed learner, a caring leader, and an active contributor to the community. Our caring and motivated team of teachers supports our students in living up to the school motto to find their own “Breakthrough” in their life journey.

Through the Kranji Experience, we prepare our students to be ready for the future. We equip them with the opportunities to be Creators, to have adaptive and inventive thinking, and to find innovative solutions for sustainable living. We also offer platforms to help them be Connectors to communicate and collaborate with peers and community partners in Singapore and beyond. This is so that every student can find a sense of purpose and be a Contributor to our society, with their unique gifts nurtured in school.

The Kranji Experience includes the curricular and co-curricular programmes, as well as our distinctive programmes such as the Applied Learning Programme, “Design Innovation for Sustainable Living”; Learning for Life Programme, “Community and Youth Leadership”; and Internationalisation programme. Our school also leverages Educational Technology (EdTech) to facilitate learning.

We will soon celebrate our 30th anniversary in 2025. As we begin a new chapter, we will continue to help each student find the joy of learning to nurture their disposition to learn for life. I invite you to explore this website to learn more about the Kranji Experience and the “Breakthroughs” our students achieved when they are with us.

We hope you will join us on this journey too.

If your child is aged 7 to 7+ and above as of 1 January in the year of admission, they can seek admission to the education level appropriate for their age through either of the following:

Admissions Exercise for International Students (AEIS).

The AEIS is for admission to Primary 2 to 5 and Secondary 1 to 3 for the following academic year.

Supplementary Admissions Exercise for International Students (S-AEIS).

The S-AEIS is for admission to Primary 2 to 4 and Secondary 1 to 2 for the same academic year.

Admission through AEIS or S-AEIS is not guaranteed, and is subject to your child’s performance in the tests. If successful, placement will be based on the available vacancies in our schools and your declared residential area, where possible.
