时间飞逝，东华文泽学校2019-2020学年于6月24日上周三结束了。这是一个值得纪念的一年。因为在这一年里，我们设备完善的校园顺利落成、我们的教师团队在新冠病毒疫情的影响下，克服了种种困难为学生提供高质量的教学，我们的学生也渐渐为他们的成就和学校感到自豪。为了纪念我们第一个学年的结束，学校举办了两场活动让TWIS社区一起庆祝---“TWIS才艺表演”和 “戏水同乐日” 。

How time flies! The 2019- 2020 school year at TWIS came to an end on Wednesday, Jun 24th. It was a rewarding year in which our purpose-built campus was completed, in which our teachers overcame challenges of delivering high-quality learning amid the pandemic, in which our students began to take pride in their accomplishments and in their school. To mark the end of our first school year, the TWIS community celebrated together by having two whole school events- TWIS Talent Show and Water Fun Day.

在我们的音乐老师邓老师的策划下，这场学期末才艺表演非常成功。经过两周的密集的排练，学生的表现十分出色，大家都自豪地在所有观众面前展示他们的才华。我们欣赏了一系列的节目，从一年级生的歌唱表演、到PYP和MYP高年级学生的乐器合奏、再到六年级学生Sarah、Robert老师和Oliver老师为大家准备的特别节目。为大家的付出和努力鼓掌！

Organized by our music teacher, Mr. Richard Deng, the year-end Talent Show held at TWIS’s largest auditorium was a great success. After two weeks of intensive practice, our students performed brilliantly and were proud to show their talents in front of all audiences. We enjoyed a series of programs from the singing performance featuring Grade 1 students, to musical instrument performances by higher grades of PYP and MYP, to special programs performed by G6 student Sarah, Mr. Robert and Mr. Oliver. Well done on all the hard work and effort! 

除此之外，我们还有一个户外戏水同乐日令学期的最后一天完满结束。这是在整个学年里学院制度的活动之一，目的是在全校活动的氛围下凝聚学生的归属感，并增进学生之间和师生之间的关系。当天六队学院的学生轮流参加各项有趣的水上游戏，如水球大战、传水杯比赛和滑水比赛等。我们一起度过了一个水花四溅，精彩绝伦的下午来迎接炎热的暑假！

On top of that, we had an outdoor Water Fun Day to make the last day of school a great one. It was one of the house events throughout the year, aiming to give students a greater sense of community within a whole school environment and the chance to build relationships between students and teachers. 6 houses took turns to engage in fun water games such as the Water Balloon War, Water Cup Race and the epic Water Slide Race. What a splashing good time we had and it was a great way to welcome the summer holidays!
