HAPPY NEW YEAR

As the Chinese New Year (CNY) holiday approaches, AXIS students delivered a remarkable performance in the CNY Gala led by the Chinese Team, and extended a warm invitation to all members of the AXIS community to join us for the 2024 CNY Gala. Our audience was filled with excitement as they eagerly anticipated the show and celebrated the upcoming Chinese New Year.

随着春节假期的临近，长菁的学生们在中文教师团队的带领下，为大家准备了一场精彩的表演，并热情邀请所有长菁社区成员加入一起观看我们的2024年春节汇演。我们的观众充满了兴奋，他们热切地期待着这场演出，庆祝即将到来的春节。

Before the start of the CNY Gala, we organized a special event to celebrate the annual "World Read Aloud Day." Three distinguished guest speakers were invited to read captivating stories to our students. Our Head of School, Mr. Bill,  delighted us with a humorous story titled "Beyond the Dumplings," the renowned author, Ms. Paula, shared her original story "The Great Animal Race," and our Library Assistant, Ms. Ranran, selected and read the book "Spring in Beijing" to us. Raise your voice and share stories!

在春节汇演开始之前，我们组织了一个特别的活动来庆祝一年一度的“世界朗读日”。我们邀请了三位特别嘉宾为我们的学生们朗读了精彩的故事。我们的总校长Mr. Bill为我们带来了幽默的故事《饺子之外》，著名作家Ms. Paula与我们分享了她的原创故事《动物大竞赛》，图书馆助理Ms.Ranran为我们挑选并朗读了《北京的春天》。欢迎大家提高你的声音，分享你的故事!

Then Mr. Bill inaugurated the show dressed as the God of Wealth, wishing everyone a Happy New Year and abundant happiness and good fortune.

随后，Mr. Bill装扮成财神的样子，为今天的春节汇演拉开序幕，并祝大家新年快乐，吉祥如意。
