2024年2月21日，农历新年正月十二，丽林维育学校在新学期伊始为全校师生带来了一场热闹非凡的舞龙舞狮庆典。
On February 21, 2024, the 12th day of the first month of the Lunar Calendar, Victoria Park Academy kicked off the new semester with a spectacular lion and dragon dance celebration.
早晨8：30，在家长和孩子们的欢呼声中，神气活现的舞龙舞狮队闪亮登场。伴随着热闹的鼓点声，雄狮和蛟龙摇头摆尾，灵动可爱，雄狮登高采青，金龙盘旋而上，栩栩如生的表演迎来现场阵阵喝彩！
At 8:30 in the morning, among with the cheers of parents and children, the lively lion and dragon dance troupe made a grand entrance. Accompanied by lively drum beats, the majestic lions and dragons swayed and danced, exuding charm and vitality. As the lions climbed to high places and the golden dragon spiraled upwards, their lifelike performances elicited cheers from the audience.
孩子们刚回到班级，没想到祥龙雄狮带着最美好的祝福来到了教室，和各班孩子们来了一次近距离的接触。好奇的小朋友们抚摸着金龙的鳞片，和雄狮一起摇头眨眼睛，有趣的互动让民间传统文化的传承在这一刻有了具象化的体现。孩子们兴奋着，欢笑着，新学期的序幕承载着这样美好的祝愿缓缓拉开。
Upon returning to their classrooms, our students were surprised to find the auspicious lions and dragons bringing their best wishes right into the classrooms, providing them with a close encounter. Curious children touched the scales of the golden dragon and mimicked the lions' movements, creating playful interactions that brought the inheritance of traditional folk culture to life in that moment. Excited and laughing, the children embarked on the new semester, with the beautiful wishes slowly unfolding.
VPA重视培养学生的民族意识和传统文化底蕴，希望孩子们能在中国传统年俗的熏陶中感受千年文化传承的魅力与精髓。新的学期，让我们用这样一场精彩的传统文化庆典，开启新一年的学习之旅，续写VPA新的辉煌！
