香港VSA体验周-随班就读
这个冬天，深圳丽林维多利亚学校与香港沪江维多利亚学校联合举办了冬令营活动。VPA学子用一周的时间到VSA随班就读，感受到了不同的课堂氛围，探索海洋的自然奇观、体验科学的神奇奥秘。VSA校园充满活力，置身其中，每一个角落都值得探索。放眼望去，不仅有醉人的帆船港湾，更有热情的师生用微笑传递着友善和温暖。总校长孔博士也在VSA亲自迎接孩子们，带孩子们参加VSA集会，并送上校长讲话。另外在周三的家长会，总校长安排了曾任芝加哥大学招生负责人的Ms Emily Benoit与家长们一起探讨关于美国大学申请入学的相关信息。

为了让孩子们更好的熟悉和适应新的环境，VSA为学生安排了Buddy。大家结交新朋友，不断探索自我，培养自信，拓展兴趣。在不同文化的融合中成长，开始了一次全新的学习体验。

海洋公园之旅，在孩子们紧张的学习之余，为孩子们带去了寓教于乐的难忘体验
走进科学馆
走进科学馆，仿佛跨越时空，亲身感受科技魅力。互动展览、科学实验，激发了孩子们对科学永不停歇的探索。令人激动的是，在中国载人航天工程展中，他们还近距离观察了神舟十三号返回舱。
体验科技感官盛宴，尽享未来科幻之旅。

戏剧表演
结营当天，由国际知名戏剧舞蹈演员Emma&Victoria，为孩子们精心打磨的戏剧《Matilda（玛蒂尔达）》在VSA演艺剧场上演 ，一起点燃舞台，释放激情。历时半小时的演出给校领导及老师、家长留下了深刻的印象，现场欢笑声与掌声不绝于耳。

VSA&VPA Winter Vacation linkage
HongKong VSA Experience Week-Study with the class
The one-week winter camp co-organised by Victoria Park Academy in Shenzhen (VPA) and Victoria Shanghai Academy in Hong Kong (VSA) successfully ended. VPA students joined the VSA regular lessons to be engaged in a new learning environment and atmosphere. On top of attending lessons, they also explored the natural fantasies from Ocean Park and Science mysteries from the Science Museum.
VSA campus is filled with vibrant energy and happy students and there are way more for parents to look into it. Sitting over the harbour, VSA attracts students not only with their overwhelming views, but also with their passionate teachers and kind-hearted students who welcome ours with their kindness and warmth.
Dr. Koong, Head of Academy, greeted and introduced VPA students to VSA on the first day during flag raising.
On Wednesday, Dr. Koong specially arranged a parent’s talk to VPA parents. Ms. Emily Benoit, former Associate Director Of Admissions, was also invited to give a speech on admissions guidance to applying for universities in the US.

Feel the real class of VSA
In order to get VPA students familiarised with the new learning environment, VSA arranged buddies for primary students. Within this short period, students were able to make new friends, explore themselves, build up self-confidence, and develop their own interests. To VPA students, being able to learn in a different culture is a valuable and remarkable experience.

“Trips to Ocean Park and the Science Museum. Apart from learning in school, this winter camp also provided an opportunity for students to learn outside.”
Science Museum
Walking in the Science Museum, students found various exhibits that immersed themselves in space, as if they were travelling through times. While touring around the museum, students tried different interactive games and did experiments. This inquiry-based learning will allow students to keep inquiring and looking for solutions. The most exciting part was students could observe the re-entry module from Shenzhou 13 manned spacecraft from a close distance.

Final Day

Perform
On the final day, students performed scenes from “Matilda”, re-arranged and choreographed by famous Performing Arts tutors Ms. Emma and Ms. Victoria. The showcase performed by students was excellent which allowed students to reach their potential and demonstrate their passion in performing arts. Although the performance only lasted for 30 minutes, it has already given a deep impression to principals and parents on how well our students could achieve.
