The grade 3 students had an amazing opportunity to visit the Chinese Academy of Sciences as part of their science unit on the life plant cycle. During their visit, they were able to meet with professors who are experts in the field and who taught them all about seed germination. The students were able to see first-hand how seeds sprout and grow into plants, and they even got to conduct their own experiments to further understand the process.

One of the highlights of the trip was learning about how a plant grows from a tiny seed to its final, towering stage. The students were able to witness the different stages of growth and even got to plant their seeds to take back to school and continue observing.
